UPPCC NIGP NASPO Joint Statement
On February 23, 2022, NASPO, NIGP, and UPPCC leaders met virtually to begin good-faith discussions on changes to UPPCC’s governance structure so that NIGP can withdraw from UPPCC in an amicable fashion. We are confident that all parties have entered into these discussions with the intention of finding a path forward which is in the best interests of the public procurement profession as a whole, protects the integrity of the certification process, and recognizes the value that NASPO’s and NIGP’s educational programs provide to certification and recertification candidates in earning training and continuing education hours.
