UPPCC Announces New Recipients of the CPPO and CPPB

Lexington, KY – August 6, 2020 – The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) is pleased to announce and congratulate the 102 individuals who have successfully completed the spring 2020 UPPCC certification examinations.  

The highly coveted Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credentials, are recognized throughout the public procurement profession and demonstrate an individual’s comprehensive mastery of public procurement. The CPPO and CPPB are widely recognized as the industry standard. 

Of the newly certified individuals, 78 earned the CPPB certification and 24 earned the CPPO certification. About the UPPCC 

The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) is an independent entity formed to govern and administer the Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification programs. The CPPO and CPPB programs are highly regarded and respected among procurement professionals and employers involved in the public sector. To date, the UPPCC has certified well over 13,000 professionals primarily within the US and Canada as well as in other nations around the globe.  

Exam Schedule

All UPPCC certification examinations are administered via computer at a Prometric testing center. Examinations will be delivered daily, Sunday through Saturday at a time and location selected by the candidate. Beginning with the 2025 exam year, Spring examinations will be administered on May 1st – 15th and Fall exams will be administered on October 17th – 31st each year. Candidate exam results will be posted approximately eight (8) weeks following the close of the exam window. Please see the schedule below for exam deadlines.
